Sticker Mule — Studio

Scope of work: Template design, graphic design, iconography, illustration, and banding.

Role: STUDIO Template Designer & Creative Designer

Sticker Mule Studio is a custom design app that lives on the Sticker Mule website. It allows users to order their custom designs on all printable and digital products such as business cards, labels, stickers, posters, social content, buttons and T-shirts.

My role as Studio Template Designer was to design, integrate and manage the Studio template library from graphics and illustrations, to icons, patterns, and more.

The Creative Designer role I had was creating custom concepts and graphics for new business proposals, client requests, brand identities, printed sample packs and custom signage design.

sticker mule factory murals: amsterdam, NY

At Sticker Mule, we had a “Concept Day” every few months where we’d get to individually create anything related to the company or brand, to our own preferences. This was to not only break away from our regular work stuff, but to generate some interesting ideas and potential products/events for the company. I chose the idea of pitching a local mural on the factory exterior walls. Amsterdam is a small, blue-collar town and has been known to flourish as a community when art and recreation are put into action.

I leveraged some of the custom icons and shapes that I designed for our template library and used them as graphic language for the murals. The first mural takes a more clean and geometric approach, while the second mural (blue) boasts an urban graffiti vibe.
